(American) Simcoe is a relatively new hop that is used for bittering and finishing. It is primarily used in American Ales, Pale Ales, IPAs, and Double IPAs.

Aroma/ Taste: Passion Fruit, Pine, Berry and Earthy.

Average Alpha Acid: 11.5-15%

Substitution: Summit, Magnum, Amarillo® hops, Cascade, and Centennial
