Breeding/Development: A diploid aroma hop from the Hopsteiner Breeding Program, originated from a cross between Hopsteiner breeding female 98005 and a Hopsteiner male derived from Nugget and USDA 19058m.

Brewing Application: Calypso™ is a unique variety, delivering aromas unlike anything else. Exploding with tropical fruit and sweet apple-pear, it’s ideal for late and dry hop additions in juicy and hazy IPA.

Sensory: Strong fruit character (pear, apple, tropical fruit, melon) with secondary notes of citrus, resin, and sugar.
